Bob resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, Tanja Bechtler, and their son Jonah.  Since moving to Charlotte,  Bob has appeared as soloist for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and the North Carolina Dance Theater.  He regularly performs with his wife, cellist Tanja Bechtler, and enjoys other collaborative projects with acclaimed guitarist Mary Akerman, the six member world music ensemble “Without Borders�, and the Moving Poets Theater and Dance Company.

 

In addition,  Bob is on the faculty at Gardner-Webb University,  Queens University of Charlotte, and Central Piedmont Community College.
